2015 Goals: Two Month Accountability Check

Accountability Check!

Well we are two months in to 2015, and I'm ready to do another check-in with you. (Whether I want to or not!)

  • Keep a closer eye on astronomical events. We haven't caught anything special yet, but I'm hopeful!
  • Buy even less. We got our tax refund, so we did some spending. We had our old laptop, which had been broke since last summer, looked at. Turns out it was definitely dead in the water and would take more money to fix than it was worth. Plus, since it was so old they weren't able to procure anything but refurbished parts. No good. So we found one at Best Buy with everything we needed and snapped it up. Then we (okay, Husband!) removed the hard drive from the old one and we turned it in to an inexpensive external hard drive. (Plus I was able to get all my files.) And our tax check allowed us to finally make the jump to bi-weekly grocery shopping!
  • Complain less. This one is my biggest challenge. I move forward and backslide several times a week, but it is what it is, and I'm trying my best!
  • Tech free Sundays. It's definitely difficult to remember that only one day is tech-free. For both of us. Since 6 days a week, our routine includes sitting down with coffee and our phones to scroll through pinterest together, it's difficult to remember on that last day! It's even worse now that The Walking Dead has returned and I fell like I need to live tweet! lol!
  • Read 55 books. This goal was definitely going to be a cake walk for me right from the beginning. I'm sitting at 9 books right now, well ahead of schedule. (I had anticipated blowing right by 55 books.)
Allllllllllll right! How are you guys doing on your goals and resolutions for 2015?? Tell me in the comments below, I'd love to know!!
